Exterior of McDonnell Engineering Campus

When constructed, this was the engineering campus and headquarters for McDonnell Aircraft Company. Designed by Armstrong in 1955, it was the start of a lasting relationship between Armstrong and McDonnell, for whom he designed many buildings in Saint Louis.
McDonnell Aircraft eventually became McDonnell-Douglas which has now been incorporated into Boeing.
